This tractor, originally sold by the Thieman Tractor Company of Albert City, Iowa as a kit to be assembled, looks like a total nightmare to drive. Aside from the obvious lack of comfort, I don't see a starter button. Was this a hand-crank model or is there another, less obvious way of starting this beast? This, among others, was on display this past weekend at the Little Bighouse Antique Power Show in Hastings, MN.

I've seen quite a few tractors in my time but have never seen one like this!!
