A sign I've never seen before

The old sign for the Twin Star Post/VFW Post #8854 on Concordia Avenue overlooking Interstate 94 in St. Paul. And yes, that is an advertisement for Diet-Rite cola. I've never seen Diet-Rite advertised. How old is this sign?

Could be '60's or 70's era-I delivered RC Cola and Diet-Rite in '78-79, and these signs were everywhere.
The Teamsters went on strike in about 1990, and the new owners shut them down-I heard they were $400 apart a year on the contract.
They had as great a market share as Coke and Pepsi.
It destroyed the brand in this region. That was a damn good job to have.
