With the most snow recorded -- 17.2 inches -- during the first winter storm of the season in Minnesota, the previously unknown village of Sacred Heart in Renville County is getting at least a bit of attention today. As it is today, Sacred Heart, MN is little more than a dot on the map to most but to photographers it is home of the Hotel Sacred Heart which appears to have seen better days and is slowly deteriorating like many structures in western Minnesota as younger generations leave for the bigger cities to the east.
